The Lemforder company was established in 1947 in the city of Lemforde in the north of Germany. In 2003, the German ZF automobile concern (ZF Friedrichshafen AG) became the owner of one hundred percent of Lemforder's shares.
The company has a worldwide reputation and specializes in the production of suspension control systems for cars and has become the number one brand in its field as a reliable partner. Currently, about 50 car manufacturers in the world, including General Motors, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Opel, VW, Mercedes Benz, Audi, BMW, Volvo, Ford and Fiat prefer Lemforder as the exclusive supplier of original suspension and control systems for their cars.
The company, being part of a global concern, has factories in several countries of the world, but the technological solutions of manufactured and designed parts are almost exclusively made in Germany.
